Miscellaneous Info

Mary Kottkamp shared that her Brownie troop #11590 is putting together care packages to send to the children in Japan.  They especially need toothbrushes, toothpaste, socks. (You could also add barrettes, hair clips/bands, collapsible Frisbees/toys, notebook and pen, other small items easily mailed).  You can also donate money to her troop to pay for postage to ship the items (to APO address). Mary will forward the address where the items are to be shipped.

WELCOME to new committee member, Ann Barrow!  We have a few other folks that have expressed an interest in being on the committee who will join us at future meetings.

Agenda

1.     2011 Finance report/read-out

2.     Review 2011 committees/duties and revise for 2012; start recruiting core committee/signup

3.     Review timeline for 2011 event; revise for 2012

4.     Discuss possible classes/instructors for 2012 (especially new ones!)

5.     Committee Reports

Finance Report – Lianne reviewed expenses vs. budget thus far (there are still some committees/instructors that have not submitted all receipts). Lianne to follow up with folks individually.  Re-visit at next meeting for FINAL report.

2012 Committees – We reviewed the committees from 2011 and made modifications as necessary. Started identifying committee chairs. See attached doc. (names highlighted in yellow have not yet been confirmed). Revisit/finalize at next meeting.

2012 Timeline – Did not have time to review. Address as agenda item next month.  See attached preliminary timeline (from 2011).

2012 Classes/Instructors  - Mary Kottkamp has agreed to chair this committee for 2012. Lianne provided feedback forms from 2011 event that included suggestions for new classes. Mary to review and incorporate into 2012.

Committee Reports

Meals (Kathy Stephan) – Kathy has been working with Melissa and Mary on the meals.  They have come up with 2 options for each meal but it is not finalized.  Kathy has a cookbook of recipes from the Juliette Low family and they were going to take a look at that to see if there is something in it we can use in our menu for a little added touch.  She has attached what they have come up with so far.  This is NOT the final option menu.  They may be making some changes before they put it up for a vote.  This is to let you know we have been working on the menu and she should have it ready to vote on at the meeting next month.

When Lianne sends out the link, be sure to try to log in a few minutes early, as it will take a few minutes to download the ATT Connect software and connect you the first time (you won’t have to do this after the first time).  See you there!!
