MEETING MINUTES

June 18^th, 2009 - 7:00 – 9:00 PM

Lianne missing from meeting due to death in the family; many THANKS to Shannon for taking meeting minutes!!

Unit Set-up: Discussed lights, maybe have mints on pillows? (no food in cabin); more signs; still investigating battery chargers (Sheila) – committee to lend? Cost $30-50.

Unit Check-Out: Marsha to look at donating Vis-a-vie markers for kaper charts? May need Clorox wipes (smaller packs).

Decorations: very excited about new swap necklace design – will use macramé cord. France to bring a sample to July meeting; plan for 200 swap necklaces.

Meals/Snacks: $50 cokes/drinks; was $7 per person/meal, need to increase to $8. $2 pp for hot drinks.

General – Set up a particular time for “Garage Sale”/Marketplace for folks to sell their wares (swap kits, handouts, fundraisers, etc.). Team decided before dinner on Saturday.  Should be a short period of time (1 hour?) and “vendors” should register to participate like it’s a class.

Trainer Gifts – need $100 budget ($3/per person)

First Aid – needs $25 budget.

Hostess – needs $25 budget.

Preferred weekend retreat date – 11/13 to 11/15. Need Lianne to confirm with Becky.

Bring to the next meeting: WRAPPED door prizes.

Our next meeting will be July 16^th at 7PM at the VSC.
