All classes/workshops have a limited number of spaces and are on a first come, first serve basis. So, be sure to select first, second, and third choices for each time slot. | Camp Helper - Camp helpers assist the Planning Committee by collecting Class rosters and taking photos of classes in progress. You'll get to walk around camp and see what all the classes are doing (this will help you pick which class you want to take next year!). You may also get to do some administrative tasks like filing or stuffing envelopes. | Creative Card Making - In this class you will learn to make two cards using unique technique. Learn Iris Folding - a folded paper technique in a spiral design that mimics the aperture of a camera and Computer Graphics - downloaded images that are embellished. | Crochet Beginning I FULL - Beginning Crochet covering basic stitches: slip stitch, single- and double crochet, turning work; additional stitches if time permits. | Exploring Nature with your Troop – Go on a scavenger hunt; count some crawlies; identify grasses, flowers, trees and birds as you learn to use field guides; play a food chain card game; eat some weeds; and make a nature journal or poster. | Guiding the Journey** - Participants will learn the three keys of the Girl Scout Leadership Experience, how to use girl and adult Journey resources to support the delivery of the new leadership model, ways to facilitate activities that are girl-led and incorporate learning-by-doing and cooperative learning, and the value of inner leadership practices for themselves and the girls. | Quilting (Beginning) – Beginner Hand Quilting: Learn how to assemble and begin hand quilting techniques by using a preprinted panel that can be finished at home into a pillow or sampler for later display, | Fabric (patterned top, batting, backing, and extra designed back for back of pillow or sampler), 3 quilting needles, 1 spool of cotton quilting thread, 2 needle threaders, and an under-hand finger guard. | Star Gazing -
A guided tour of the stars and constellations of the winter sky, offered Friday & Saturday night.
We will have handouts for all registered participants, rain or
"shine". We'll meet briefly in the dining hall to get star
charts & wrap flashlights before going outside . |

| Staying Found with Compass Skills - This class is designed to help leaders teach girls some skills on how to stay safe when adventuring out-of-doors. It will emphasize what they should take with them as well as what to do incase they become lost. | Troop Camping Basics: Cabin Camping - First step for troops planning troop camping experiences. Teaches adults the steps in working with girls to plan and carry out an overnight experience using indoor facilities (lodges, cabins, etc.) with kitchens and indoor bathrooms at council camps as well as other approved camp facilities.
