Welcome and Introductions In attendance were Lianne Griffin, Cris Agustin, Terry Otto, Shannon Glapion, Karen McFadden, Marie Lott, Frances Parks, and Laurie Hackworth.
Team reviewed the Committee actions and agreed on the following:
- Registration/Admin Lianne Griffin (chair) we are currently at 96 registrants; well expect at total of ~120. We will need a male cabin should have 6 or 7 men registered.
- Check-In Karen McFadden (chair) Karen is working on the posters over break. Lianne has fliers to stuff in the packets and will bring them to the next meeting. Lianne will also bring printed nametags to January meeting. Committee bring paper cutters to January meeting to cut them apart.
- Set-up Laurie Hackworth (chair) Laurie has kaper charts finished. She will email files to Lianne. Need Marsha to print out on 11x17 paper and laminate if possible and bring to January meeting.
- Participant Check-Out Kathy Stephan (chair) Laurie needed Kathy to bring the teabags tonight so she can make the swaps for checkout. Kathy advised that if Laurie will e-mail her home address, Kathy will mail them to her or she can bring them to the meeting on 1/5/06. Need Kippy to provide Laurie with the sample.
- Unit Check-Out Shannon Glapion (chair) working on recruiting helpers.
- Entertainment Terry Otto (chair) nothing new to report. Still trying to find jungle music. Shannon and Frances have fountain that plays rainforest music they will bring.
- Decorations Frances Parks (chair) Marsha has finished most of the bags for the luminaries and will have them for Frances at the January meeting. Kathy will bring the baby food jars on 1/5/06 for the luminaries. Decorations are complete. Frances distributed hats to committee. Have 2 solar lights so far.
- Meals/Snacks - Terry Otto (chair) nothing to update.
- Workshops/Trainers Kippy Shea (chair) Still need to confirm instructors for Knots & Strings and Lashing. Learning While Serving is no longer offered, so Terry had Lianne cancel the class. Lianne has gotten volunteer alternate instructor for beads class on Saturday; Virginia Suty will teach the beads class on Sunday.
- Door Prizes/Gifts - Cris Agustin (chair) door prizes are finished; Cris has 50 prizes. She will get the trainer gifts in early Jan. Cris also has Terrys game prizes.
- First Aid Team Marsha Sussman (chair) no update.
