Camp Twin Lakes is a beautiful camp with lakes, activity buildings, dining hall, boating and sports located at 1391 Keencheefoonee Road, Rutlege, GA 30663. You can see the camp on their web site. It is approximately 1.5 hours from Atlanta. Driving directions are online.

We stay in large, heated troop-size cabins which accommodate 11-12. If you have a large troop, you will be in two cabins next door to each other. The cabins have bathrooms inside with flush toilets and showers. There is a front porch on each cabin which you are invited to decorate with your troop's theme. There is an electric outlet on the porch if you wish to use mini lights (bring extension cords!). Each troop will choose an animal as their theme and that will be the name of their cabin.

The troop trip application is now available online. Each troop must complete the troop trip application form. Formerly this form was signed by SUD, but now it goes directly to council. The most common cause of troop trip application rejections are due to (1) event location omission - be sure to list the address for Camp Twin Lakes - and (2) unregistered or insufficient accompanying adult volunteers. Adult volunteers must be listed by name and must have volunteer apps on file!
