Cultural Diversity Patch Program – Fellowship Hall

All troops are invited to attend, including those who did not prepare a project. Troops will place their project on the tables in the center of the room (the tables around the outside of the room should be used for each troop’s display boards, bridging and Silver Award displays, scrapbooks, etc.).

After the Cultural Diversity program is over, the center tables will be cleared of the displays and set up for the food for the reception following the Bridging/Awards ceremony.

Bridging/Awards Ceremony - Sanctuary

All troops should be in the Sanctuary promptly at 4:00 for the rehearsal. We would like all troops to participate even if they are not bridging, as they can help welcome new girls to their level and help with the beginning flag processional.

The complete Bridging/Awards Ceremony is now available online. Troops should plan individual invitations to girls, parents, and guests.

Troop’s Own

Each troop will be allowed approximately 15 minutes following the Bridging Ceremony before the reception to hold a Troop’s Own. You may distribute badges, awards, membership starts, and thanks awards to your parent volunteers, etc. as a troop. (Note to troop 4715: We won't be doing this with the Service Unit this year. We will have our own award ceremony & swim party from 6-9 PM at Leslie Beach.)

Reception – Fellowship Hall

Each troop should bring finger foods, hors d’oeuvres, deserts, etc. to share. Please bring enough for your troop and your troop’s guests. The Service Unit will provide paper goods, silverware, cups, and beverages. Each troop should pay $10 to Three Leaves Service Unit - see Rosalie Baine, Three Leaves Service Unit treasurer – to cover decorations, cake, beverages, etc. Food should be brought to the Fellowship Hall between 4 and 5 for setup prior to the Bridging Ceremony.

Each troop should prepare a display board, scrapbook, etc. to show what they did this year as a troop or what they did for their bridging steps. Each Silver Awardee should prepare a display board depicting their Silver Award project. These will be displayed on tables around the outside of the room during the reception.

[Troop leaders]: please RSVP to Lianne Griffin for Cultural Diversity Patch Program, Bridging Ceremony, and Reception ASAP.
